A little bit of background.....
Miniature figure painting is a worldwide hobby with a rich history and background. These range in size from 6mm up to 200mm. Although the latter can not really be described as "Miniature"
There are many manufacturers Andrea, Games Workshop, Rackham, and Reaper just to name a few.

Biography:-

Mike Dodds
Ok this is me!

Ok who am I?

My name is Mike Dodds and I’ve been painting miniature figures off and on for quite a few years. According to some sarcastic people I was responsible for the cave paintings at Lescaux, but I’m not quite that old!

I’ve been entering the UK Golden Deamon competitions since 1995, and have so far managed to achieve Finalist places 6 times.  Firstly in 2000, again in 2001 and twice in both 2003 and 2004.

I've won a couple of Local competitions and the Warhammer Fantasy category at Conflict Manchester 2003. (You’ll be able to see these miniatures in the Gallery)

I’ve also freelanced for White Dwarf and my local GW Store. I've had miniatures showcased in Harbinger magazine (Issues 13 & 14) and also had a review of a miniature printed in Harbinger issue 13.

I have painted a few commission pieces and am always willing to consider most painting requests.

Very soon I will be spreading my wings and putting auctions up on Ebay.

Keep your eyes peeled!
